I think that guns should be banned for 24hrs before and after the president arrives in an area. It's just too dangerous to have people with loaded guns besides the secret service around the president.

The President is protected by the best bodyguard service in the world, highly trained and they are VERY VERY good at their job, most likely planned for every possible threat. They are trained to notice people who are armed, concealed and obviously will see those who are showing off their guns in plain sight. It wouldn't be a scaring them as they would just keep an eye on you before looking else where. Even if you are not armed with anything, SS will be on the look out for anyone suspicious.

I just realized I broke a law yesterday carrying a concealed gun into the DMV.

I say lets go old west style. "PLEASE CHECK YOUR GUN AT THE BAR" if you don't want to give up your gun don't drink. or have a beer or two and be on your way. One thing is certain, less bar fights. As for the president having a special bubble, you cant be the leader of the free world and take others freedoms just because you have given them your company. Local laws should not change for one man. He knew the risks when he ran for office.

@nectoxicdragon Well the one guy that is a good man in either of the big pary was figuratively speaking castrated by his OWN PARTY when he was running for the republican nomination and...MC Cain won? The one guy that had what it took was Ron Paul and he was figuratively speaking drowned by his own party. Well that's my two cents and may we get out of this alive and remember pretty much all be Conservative compared to our two 'progressive'/socialist parties that we cling to today.

@nectoxicdragon I agree, there's is so m uch mystery, conspiracies, and treacherousness sorrounding this current president and, more specifically this administration that, while there is hope, we must wake up others before we are a vassal nation to our former enemies. I also want to say I'm neither republican or democrat, but libertarian of the Ron Paul type, I did not vote for either of these 'different political parties as Bush was as liberal as Clinton except he claimed religion.

The guns in bars law is being misunderstood and misrepresented. You are allowed to carry only if you do not drink.
