  • He is so great it leaves me speechless and breathless. Nobody else has such an incredible voice and sings with more passion. I have compared numerous versions of this song that are sung by him and one is better than the other !

  • @ziggsstar Great!! I'm not the only aged parent that has gifted this to my Sons then :)

Bowie has been a part of my life since i was 11 (you do the maths lol) because of my appreciation of extreme talent such as DB my eldest is about to start his honours degree in Sound Light and Live Event Technology ..... thanks David X, and thanks Robbie XX.

  • @MrMbws hard to believe..

  • I saw this show as a double show in NJ. Nine Inch Nails started then David joined them onstage, and they did Scary Monsters together. Then NIN left the stage leaving DB and his band. I came specifically for the Bowie portion, but there were clearly a large number of people there just for NIN. They left not because David was there, but because NIN were not,

  • this is so gorgeously intense

  • i think it's called La Mort, but i'm having trouble to find it too.

  • I don't get this: this song is from the Belgian singer songwriter Jacques Brel, who in his own way was a equally good performer and certainly an even greater poet. Bowie has a better voice...as nobody else has got a better voice :-) But how is that song called in the original version??? I just can't seem to find it sung by Brel!?!

  • I first heard this live in 1973 at Coventry theatre on his 'Ziggy tour', I was 15! You do the maths :) Me and my mates were transfixed and mesmerised (you had to be there - it is part of rock history) I have been married for 25 years, have seen him live 5 times during that period. His music has been an integral part of my life. My grown up kids love all his old stuff. Great performance and great vids Matt - just subscribed.

  • Absolutely top. Thank you for the post

  • Beautiful..........
