@burnsybaby1987 more DIY style influenced Eric Clapton, who hung around with him in the late 70's...there's a wonderful story that the first airing of 'Wonderful Tonight' was to Ronnie Lane and guests, sat round a bonfire one night. Isn't that glorious?

@cje49 Still, a great show to have been at. Yeh his music is amazing...I didn't know much about him until that film aired, I found myself liking him and certain ballads, April Fool...Just For A Moment...in the face of such a 'heavy' period (with the likes of the Faces, Who, Led Zeppelin) knocking about Ronnie downrooted it and stripped it bare. @burnsybaby1987 Sadly I doubt there is video of that show.About 5 songs were recorded live for his opening LP as "Slim Chance." I still play his youtubes to cheer myself up. His enthusiasm and songs are great after all these years..christopher

@cje49 Very nice. I've got 'The Passing Show' on DVD, the film about Ronnie...is this what you're talking about a performance video? Be great if so. Thanks. Adam

@burnsybaby1987 Sometimes youtube doesn't tell you of comments.
The Director/Producer of the Passing Show contacted me for my use of music..
Said he was touring with Slim Chance and there was a new DVD out soon.
I worked as a Manager when songs were recorded for Anymore for Anymore
At the Victoria Palace in London 1973 ish. Lovely songs.

@gropingwithastoker -- just a couple of corrections: NOW you are my good friend --- And I wonder what you would have BEEN.

@affectionatepunch Keith Richards also helped quite a bit. He had an aunt who had MS and he paid for Ronnie to stay at a treatment center he'd bought in Florida in the early 80's. He also sent Steve Marriott there to help Ronnie while he was there. Which birthed the Majik Mijit project, the last time Marriott/Lane worked together.
@gropingwithastoker it's about Ronnie's father
