You guys if you are using linux install Geany. Its probably the best editor out there and its free. If you are on Ubuntu then it is in the Software Center. Dont waste time with WINE, use Linux like it was meant to be used.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I actually have all three, but would prefer developing on OSX or Linux where I have accounts with programming in mind set up already. I use Windows for work and exclusive games only. .NET didn't work very well last I tried WINE (oh, 5 years ago?), but now I can try it out.

@BeBoBli aww man try running it threw wine with python installed in wine also, then after your done making the file edit it manualy with python on linux

hey guys try FarPy GUIE for making a gui in python ..I google around and this thing is pretty sweet. Just make sure you have wx installed like he said . It makes it sooo much easyer XD.
