Still Time from the motion picture 'Round Midnight by Bertrand Tavernier.

Showcases the sensitivity of jazz giants Herbie Hancock (piano), Dexter Gordon (sax), Ron Carter (bass) and Tony Williams (drums).

Understated elegance, goes way beyond technique.

This album won the 1986 Academy Award for Original Score.

  • This is one of the finest jazz compositions out there. The music is mellow and harmonious, and very beautiful. The love of the music just pours from the musicians, I love this song!

  • sorry about my english... i'm portuguese, and i saw this movie in earlier's 80's. After that moment my life has changed and my taste for music was changed too. My mind flows and wings appears in my imagination. I'm greatfull to be part of a human race who creates so wonderfull quiet moments. My bless and thanks to that musicians. They are the best. Thank you all.
