Ryu Shu Taiko: Shinkansen

The premiere Long Island taiko group, Ryu Shu Taiko, performing the kumidaiko piece "Shinkansen". The shinkansen is better known as the Bullet Train that speeds around Japan and this piece reflects the history of train locomotion. You can feel the strain of the train struggling up hills, and of the echoes of the train going through tunnels.
