  • Even with Microsoft's failing physics, you'll never land after that flare.

  • try a starship.. i have made a succesfull landing with one

  • never. it would more likely do a crash land in water like the pilot did in the hudson river earlier this year

  • lol

even if a real boieng succesed to land on a aircraft carrier

its wont be abale to take off never again...

    XD

    sorry about the english

    didnt slepted like 40 hours

  • lol......thats a game. and NO that is not possible in real life. Even in the game he would have gone off the end of the deck or taken out the tower with a wing.

  • No, the wingspan is too wide, the biggest aircraft to ever land on an aircraft carrier is a C-130 (vids on youtube) the navy was conducting a test to find a COD, after sufficient testing they picked the E-2C that 3rdIDGrunt is talking of.

  • The LA (landing area) on a carrier is not anywhere near wide enough to handle a jst that size. It's barely wide enough to handle an E-2C with much room between the wingtips and foul lines

  • There are many military airbases still throughout the Pacific, and more than enough accommodating countries out there that would harbor a 747 (Or any other jet) if they had trouble. The plane might run off the runway, but otherwise probably be safe. I doubt a aircraft carrier would be able to do anything other than launch helicopters to try and find survivors after a water landing if no other option was available.
