@60otaku3 Thanks : Think I am driving my son mad playing all these classics! I am Scottish, but early childhood was in London. Vividly remember being dragged to the flat of not sure Mick Jagger, in Earls court by my older friends. They were very patient and autographed and chatted to these besotted schoolgirls. At the time I would have rather been galloping around Regents park pretending to be a horse:) Yet there really has never been anything like that era again.

お見事な合わせ技！両方共よく聞きましたよぉ～。ありがとうございます。久しぶりに聴きました。
エド・サリヴァン・ショーで「夜をぶっとばせ」をやってた映像を見た時は興奮したなぁ…。ありゃブライアン・ジョーンズがピアノ席に居たんでしたっけ？そして何よりミックが不服そうにしてた感じでしたねぇ。やっぱりあの時代は倫理上オンエアーに際して「some time」に検閲って今となっては昔的な情景ですな。

今から思えばそれ程大それた歌詞ではないのですが、当時は意味ありげのちょっとした言葉の綾ですら目のカタキにする人達が多かったですからね。

A面の「夜をぶっとばせ」が歌詞の一部に問題ありと騒がれ、B面の「ルビーチューズデイ」ばかりがエアプレイされたことでビルボードチャートで第1位を獲得するという有名なエピソードが残されておりますが、実に強力なカップリングですね。
両曲ともピアノでジャックニッチェが参加しているのも興味深いです。
