Warren earned more than $700,000 from Harvard and consulting fees each year, has a $5 million house, has a shit load of mutual funds and stocks making her worth nearly $8 million. I think you misunderstand why we had a raging economy under Clinton. It's called the internet. Do you remember when the stock market was so good that you could invest in anything and make 10 percent return? He also repealed the Glass-Steagall act, which allowed banks to trade in mortgage backed securities. He was able to reap the windfall profits of the same decision that screwed Bush and Obama, not that either needed help in screwing themselves...

In my opinion we could save a ton simply by cutting out the waste. I think the reason people don't run on that is it sounds far better to say Tax Cuts for everyone. It is a simpler thing to do and resonates with voters better, although it isnt sustainable to reduce government income when we are already filled with debt. Just think about how much could be saved by pulling our troops out of countries like Afghanistan. Not to start a Ron Paul flame war but that was one piece of policy he got right.

Agreed. I am an independent voter. I like what Warren has to say about taxes but I don't want to vote for another carpet bagger like Deval,Romeny and the rest. Fact is when Clinton left office we had a 6 trillion dollar surplus and a raging economy. We need to raise taxes on the wealthy and cut spending on frivolous programs like the billions being stuffed into DoD.
