Is there an Indian way of doing business?

Business Sutra attempts to answer that question through a special series of conversations with well known mythologist Devdutt Pattanaik. Pattanaik believes that mythological stories along with symbols and rituals are the tools through which our ancestors shared their wisdom, wisdom that is relevant even in modern times. Business Sutra is an attempt to make the wisdom of mythology accessible and applicable to the corporate world.

Hosted by Menaka Doshi, Business Sutra will, over 4-5 episodes, discuss the purpose of a corporation, short term goals versus long term ideals, leadership qualities, dharma sankat and modern day business conflicts, ownership versus management, the lifecycle of a business and similiar issues pertaining to Leadership & Governance.

  • @thisfirstdarc ;) you believe whatever you want to believe.. :)

  • @OOhhhYeahh100 Truly enlightened people work for everyone *but* for themselves. I am sorry to say to you that what you've said here fails to capture the essence of Indian spiritual thought at all. In actuality, observing dharma in business is quite necessary as a form of karma yoga, which Krishna calls "skill in action." Basically, people are still going to participate in the daily activities of their time. Therefore, I think it is conscientious to attempt to observe dharma in these things.

  • great explanation

  • Hats off!!!

  • Great !!

  • @AshmakuChild he also refuses to lift the bow of shiva...because he is a hsiv bakth!

  • @jmsnaveen naa dude...that is all bullshit added in the later texts.... the earliest text calls ravan an arya and a brahmin, but he gives up his brahminhood to become the king of lanka!

  • But yes, this video does tend to make one look into one's own self and think....
