I made this thing called an "8-bit yellow box" a while back that has DMX-512, MIDI in/out, an effects processor -- and what's featured here, a synth feature. I didn't take a video of it for the longest time and it's from way back in the day when I didn't know how to make PCBs.

I don't think I have schematics or anything left of this other than source code, but at Dom's request, I may be making another one of similar design.

Sorry about the audio quality - I'm still on my cheap Woot.com polaroid camera.

  • Damn, I couldn't stop laughing. Dom, you're a genius haha, and to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be hooked up to the color chords guitar! I really could've used that guitar when I took Music Theory AP in high school hahaha. Great stuff, you should put more of these music related vids up, I definitely love seeing music outside its box ;P

    2:34 I'm drawing a blank but it's SO familiar...

  • @ddrXero64 I think it's aerodynamic by Daft Punk
