AC Soul Symphony Feat. Ricci Benson - " Still in Love "

Dave Lee returns under his AC Soul Symphony moniker for a fantastic updated version of the cult early 80 s Rose Royce track Still In Love .

The track is much more like a remix than a cover, using the original parts with lots of great musicianship present all riding over the fat bass synth driven groove. Original singer Ricci Benson features on vocals with Tony Remy on guitar, Michele Chiavarini on keys, Simon Williscroft on sax and an 8 piece live string section

Ricci sounds almost Chaka Khan-ish with the anthemic song shining in the Joey Negro Love Symphony Mix. There is also a groovy Jazz Funk Dub, Reprise and Accapella versions for various times in the day/night/evening/morning.

This is HOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! I don't think Ricci sounds Chaka Khan-ish alone, but the background vocals/harmonies are definitely Chakaesque.
