Vw had a VR5 but not a V5 theres a difference.

@nicksloan V engine needs two separate cylinder heads VR has one so you can't call a V engine. end of of discussion.

reihen = the German word for 'inline'

5 = The number of cylinders

Yes it is not a traditional V engine, but dont send me messages telling me im wrong, when that clearly is a V engine. Here is the dictionary deffention of a V-Engine: An internal-combustion engine having cylinders arranged so that pairs form V shapes.

@nicksloan do some research dumb ass V engines can only be V4 V6 V6 ect there can be VR5 but no V5. And before you make your stupid comments read the full sentence not the first five words :) "Volkswagen introduced the first V5 engine, though this engine is not a true twin-bank V engine, but rather a VR5, or staggered bank straight-5 engine, and therefore not a true V5. "

@losfosho nice, i gotta 09 (same color and two door as well.... oh and retro-fit H.I.D.s. lol great minds think alike eh?), what other upgrades have u put on though? all i have is a carbonio intake.
