@AlexMoby well i always saw 'let mortal heroes sing your fame' as referring TO the valar/elves/immortals in general from mans point of view, like men singing tales of Ulmo & Orome/Fingolfin or Fingon cause they're so kickass haha. but youre right it could be the other way and Valar are talking about how fucking sweet Turin Tuor and Beren were.."oh SHIT took out Glaurung!!""that tough son of a bitch got the silmaril from MORGOTHS FUCKING HELM!!" etc.. haha

@ngyafero as soon as i heard that riff start in my mind exploded....that type of riffing helps make summoning what they are for sure, its actually a pretty tricky riff because of the feeling behind it, cant just play it and expect it to sound good!

Elegant. When I listen to this song, I imagine the Valari watching the destinies of great heroes. Thanks Summoning for this masterpiece !

@lamortaten1 it is black metal with some medieval roots blend into it which some metallers get it mixed with folk metal.

There music takes all the beautiful untouched parts of nature (and middle earths) and bring it to you in a sound that can only be described as romantically powerful music! I can't even compare any band to them, because they stand alone. I love summoning more than anything when life just is. Thanks Silineus and Protector for a wonderful gift of sound /,,/

the gods made heavy metal and they saw that it was good
they said to play it louder than hell
and we promised that we would!

@naethryn420 Well, I beg to differ. TO ELEVEN!

Not only is summoning as epic as middle earth's beautiful landscape, their also original and have their own sound.
