Depends on the CRIMES...if he got locked up for DUI forgive him and visit him. If he committed a horrific crimes such as; robbery, murder, rape etc. Then, you shouldn't not go visit him...because your daughters doesn't need a grandfather like him. If you have spare changes send it to him and treated him like he's a homeless person. It's like paying him back for brought you out of this world.

That's a good point. He got his 3rd strike for something so petty it's not worth repeating. And I never knew that at your trial the court does not announce to the jury that their decision will determine if you strike out or not!

yooo thats your father no matter what he did you still have to show him love go visit him i was locked up for 2 and a half years and i know what a visit means its what kept me goin you need to go see that man before its too late

society. Once you are a number. Even if you change

inside nobody trusts you. That is why so many go back.

What I am trying to say is maybe he changed? Time does

strange shit to selfish individuals, not saying your pops is one.

I can speak for myself. I know there is not a day that goes buy

that he dosent feel like shit for what he has done or lack of.

i'd say for you to treat him with love. no matter what he did, no matter how the pain, love him-thats the best therapy. hes probably very regretful (as he should be), but put yourself in his shoes. sin is sin no matter how much-crime is crime no matter how big. you do have to look out for your kids and make sure they are mature enough to understand problems and conflicts that occur in lives (such as his), but don't be sayin "its really bad. hes really bad" or "its fine, whatever".thats meASK GOD

Well go ahead and visit him. I know there is not much he can do for you behind bars, not that he was doing a whole lot when he was'nt and jail is a depressing place. I dont know if I would take the kids, but I think you should go see him. Make some good of the time you have now, nothing we can do about yesterday. the kids can go later when they are older and its their decision to go see him not yours.

MAn please dont ever accept that 3rd strike he deserves it mess! ...no one deserves to get 25 to life ! just because they messed up 3 times in there life..ive made more than a 1000 mistakes in my life and im sure most likely u have too!...the system has given up on yo dad ....and now it seems as though u are too!...they law has punished your dad to the full extent of the law!....if he cant count on u ... he 4 damn sure cant count on the CALIFORNIA legal system!
