John, thank you so much for posting these videos. They are so helpful to so many people and such a good way for you to educate the public. You seem to have a great support system. I'm sure you are aware of the recent research findings that are now proving genetic causes for some forms of stuttering. So the fact that you stutter was never an indication of a character flaw in you. Thanks again for your courage.
I agree that speech therapy isn't a cure. One thing that I felt was helpful however was to learn to control my speech. My therapist told me to try TO stutter... And when I stuttered on every word, I realized that I had control of every word.
That one "trick" helped me to master my speech more effectively.
Don't get me wrong, I still stutter every day. But now I have the confidence to push through it, because I learned that I can.

"Good stuttering" is the way forward. Concealement is what we all did! And it's wrong!
