  • Shadows great group. I've worked for the E.M.I-Record company for 13 years in Holland! I'm now 80 years old and still love this music!

  • This is the most outstanding piece of all of the instrumental musics played by The Shadows! I like 'Kon-Tiki' very much! Thank to the guitar backing music track which has been arranged and shared in the website, so that I can try to play 'Kon-Tiki' using my own electric guitar just like what Hang B. Marvin did! Lolz!.. He.. he..! Viva ~ The Shadows ~ !!

  • Hey Gals and Guys. I must say my Father was a big fan of Shadows since he were yong! (Rip daddy i love you!!). Since i was a little boy my dad was playing shadows tracks very loudly. My dad loved those melodies, he also played guitar. Now he's in heaven and now i'm a producer of electronic dance music. I also play guitar though and i love Shadows as my dad did!

I hope all dads will gave their sons a good music taste

    Peace and no war :)

  • WOW!!!...this is still so brilliant. Must have loads of the Shadows LP's lots also same as it is so difficult to find them in my thousands of records I just buy them again they are so fantastic. I remember The Shadows when they used to be teamed up with Cliff Richard I used to rush home from infant school to watch them on telly think they were on Crackerjack..or a programme either side of this. My mate used love Cliff Richard I used to love Elvis Presley..The Ghetto...All the Gods of good music

  • super Hank Marvin!!

  • CoolKonTiki.

  • @wimniewenhuijs Goed bezig man ;).

  • @bigderekkeene must be the truss's

  • Judge music in context. For its time the Shadows were a great soft influence, clean, simple and good for docus and restaurant background music. This song was idle for backing the expedition it is named for, joyous and hopeful. Music is not about anything else but giving wings to the soul.

  • How fuckn sad is that
