Any Card Called For

Imagine having a shuffled deck of cards setting on the palm of your hand. A spectator from the audience calls out the name of ANY card. You instantly cut the cards to the exact location of the named selection. This can be repeated over and over with different cards. Then as a kicker, you perform the same effect blindfolded.

In the instructions I suggest that the perform should create the illusion that the deck is shuffled. And, I give 4 different ways to do that. Of course the deck has to be switched, I know of no way to do the trick with an "apparently" shuffled deck if it isn't. I did write an ad for MUM. It's in the current issue (Jan. 2012.) It give the effect without mention shuffling at all... perhaps the same way you would write the ad. Dennis Loomis

You will be surprised to hear that you made a couple of wrong assumptions. You probably figured they were warranted, but here's the truth.

First I (Dennis Loomis) did not post this clip on YouTube. The truth is that I don't know how. Second, I did not write the copy with the claim which you find so misleading. Once Christmas is over, I will see what I can do to get it changed or eliminated. I did the very brief demonstration of the effect, but this is not the way I present it to Laymen. Dennis
