God of War 3: - Skip Hercules (Speedrun Strategy)

Skip Hercules for a speedrun.

Points of Interest:
1. Well, as I suspected you can skip the Hercules/Hera cutscene as well as the entire Hercules fight (except for the last mini-game of course).

2. Luckily, when Kratos does the final section of the mini-game he doesn't touch the trigger that starts the first cutscene with Hercules and Hera. That would have ruined the skip.

3. When I "R1" the black geometric shape that starts the final game cutscene, it's interesting to see the camera spin around oddly to show the "battle-camera-angle"...at least I thought.

4. I've yet to see what happens if I start any of the battle phases, and only THEN trigger the first cutscene with Hercules. I'm really curious about possible paradoxes that the game will have to decide upon one way or another.

Will "battle Hercules" still be around while "Cutscene Hercules" is giving his speech that never seems to end? If so, will he break Kratos out from the cutscene? (this usually causes Kratos to go flying oddly through the sky for some reason, in other parts of the game).

Would Hercules be "broken out" from the cutscene? Causing him to go flying oddly? We'll see.

Awesome man, but I can,t understand why you're not doing a full speed run of this game ? You're doing only split parts, if you would have uploaded the full speed run it would be great

@findlestick I've seen those speedruns already man they are outstanding, what I ment to tell you is why you are not doing GOW 3's normal play speedrun on chaos, we have GOW 2's speedrun NP on titan but there's no GOW 3's NP speedrun on chaos

Great job. However, I believe the Early Chain Break is still much faster.

Great, now this part of the game will last not that much at all (2 minutes for entire battle - amazing).

It will probably look interesting if you can combine battle and the cutscene together.

Now, Hera is another character we will barely even see during a speedrun.
