@VAAMusicalMike generic is not an excuse. Im sorry but I dont know too many uncle (family related) lion characters who are dark and have a scar on the eye beside claw & scar. I dont know to many animated series who have the main lion character who have birds that serve them besides Kimba & Simba, I dont know to many baboons who are friend's with the fathers an now with the main character besides mufasa/simba panja/kimba.

I can go on and on, but i think you should get the point

and people who think simba is a spin-off of kimba they're wrong simba is just swahili for lion and simba is a ... LION hence the name "LION king" kimba is forest protector or something like that the fact that they sound the same is just a coincidence OK!!!!!!!

The thing is, lions don't live in the jungle (no real lion that I know of anyway). Kimba should be right at home out in the savannah.

@Sanimangas Im fairly sure Disney would've come up with TLK with out Kimba. Would it be a whole lot different? Yes probably. But they didnt need Kimba to make it.

This is wierd I remember when the lion king came out I swore to my parents I had seen it before . They didnt beleive me :D . My uncle baby sat me for a couple hours a couple years before at a freind of his house . He put this show on to entertain me . My kids got the lion king today and I got curious and sure enough here it is OMG its totally the show I saw . There were so many similarities that even as a child I was sure I had already seen the lion king .
