The last time my sons and I road this trail, we make it up the ridge and started on Spencer Gap to confront a black bear. Needless to say, we headed back down the ridge in record time. We have moved to Utah and I miss Pisgah's trails. This was my favorite along with reasonover trial in Dupont State Forest. Great video! Thanks guys for the memories.

I have ridden Trace Ridge 5 out of the last 6 years, and I have to say, this is one of my favorite trails in the world! I've never ridden it with so few leaves on the trees though. I usually go in early Oct. and there is beautiful fall colors in the whole forest. If you love MTBing, you MUST ride this trail!!!
