A multi-pairing Sea Patrol vid I made a while ago that I finally decided to finish and upload. Found this song and couldn't stop listening to it so I eventually made a video to it.

Song: Shattered by Trading Yesterday
Pairings: Nav/ET, Bomber/Spider and Mike/Kate
No copyright infringement intended, made purely for fun.

Hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching!

  • @ActuallyLiam Hmm, i never knew that. BEAST!

  • @BRIAirsoft Nope, you're name is also a Coastal City in the State of Western Australia [WA] which Hammersley is named after. All navy boats in Australia are named after a major Australian city or suburb with the first of the class named after the class of ship.

  • @PleaseBreatheForMe I hate that they killed both Swain and ET. They were the best!

Well in my opinion, I preferred how ET left over everyone else. Out of all of them, I liked that it was actually recognised that ET had died and wasn't there anymore, rather than just disappearing suddenly. I don't know about you but, looking at SP as a fictional TV show, I think it was a wise decision for ET to go out with a bang over fading out. I think I'd prefer that. Looking at it from the character's perspective, it sucked. But like I said, it made for some great viewing.

  • @PleaseBreatheForMe Well so did Nav, Cheffo, Bomber, Buffer an Spider and they didn't die. Having watched soaps for years and having seen many people die, I can tell you death is good for the short-term but in the long-term, creates a big hole in the story. I think long term, we lose out. Thing is, Nav left a few episodes after, so we could have had a happy ending if he hadn't died. They could even have him presumed dead and found alive in the end of season, that would still be emotional.

  • @mariem201

Yeah, I get that. It sucks, and they definitely both suffered. It would be a terrible way to die, and Nav would know that too. I can't imagine what it would be like to die like that, and I was devastated that he died. It made me want to wrap all the characters up in cotton wool. Having said that though, David Lyons made the choice to leave and so his death couldn't have been avoided. And whether you liked him dying or not, it made for some pretty emotional episodes and a great season
