anyways i play non euips and not really alot people do that in ad hoc since all jp people play with higher euips. but for tournament at your stander i guess non euips. anyways not talking shit . i know what you mean .

Umm...coming from a casual player talking about standardized competition fighting scenes? No offense to you gmoya, but the basic idea OF a tournament styled fighter is based on player skill over their character, not who has better items or what not or luck. That is why people play with no equips and is merely preference. I too enjoy no-equips as it makes the match not so dependent on one shot to kill (slightly more leeway...but punishments are more severe.)

My group also regulates both types of play, non and with equips; as to show the different faces that this beautiful game can do. I kinda treat the equips battles similar to Pokemon, performance based on how long you took to raise and set up your rep. Some people like it, and that's why we have a league for it.

For those who wish to eradicate that part and focus merely on player skill alone, we have that too. Don't be so quick to throw such an "ignorant" statement such as that.

yeah, levels and equipments do matter to a point. If you plan on battling Japanese foes, they LOVE equipment battles. Granted...lots will win due to EX builds...but there are a few here and there that actually pwn with skill.

America, Europe, and such kinda lean towards no equips...but not all.

my dad brought it with him to champagne ILLnois, to play NBA live 08 with one of his boys. then he came back to chicago, decides to drive to Harold's Chicken shack to buy some wings.
