Sounds good. I have an '84 SE (same color!) and want to do some of the same stuff. I already got some decent tires, and my brakes are new (might get pads) What shock/spring combo would you recommend for mostly street, with some autocross duty as well. What else is done to your car?

Yes, this is an fb. As far as tires, I'm running cheap ($50.00 each) Sumitomo tires. Very good for the money though. Since the course was wet, the guys running race rubber lost their advantage this time. I actually held fast time of day for the first half of the day, until the course dried up. ;)

a good car combined with very good tires. the suspension on the fd r1's are great, and any rx7 fd with modded suspension is sure to be a good handling car. this looks like an fb or fc.
Car sounds really good. 12a or 13b? Exhaust setup? Porting?

Thanks. Lots of work has gone into her, but for this race it was just a matter of being smooth. We get snow here 3 months out of the year, so experience in driving on slippery surfaces really helped out with the rainy course. Fun!

thats great, my sister's husband owns an Rx-7 (FD3S)and I helped him alot in modyfing it, so I know how much work needs to be done. i drove it a couple of times so I do appreciate your driving. it drifts so easily just by giving it a bit of excess throttle. how about some drift videos or some donuting next time? :p

If you want to see some drifting, check out my latest video. Friend of mine showing his mad skills at an autocross race... :)
