Great rhythm and blues tunes are what made fifties rock and roll unique. "Kansas City" was one of those funky rockin' blues songs performed by Wilbert Harrison that became number one on Billboard's Hot 100 in 1959. It was originally written in 1952 by Lieber and Stoller and covered by some giants like Little Richard, The Beatles, and Bill Haley and His Comets just to name a few. This is the "BluezGeek with his cat sleeping on the couch in his living room" version. Hope you enjoy it.
