  • @DotDotkins If you look at the background during the match there is a banner that says "West For Wrestling Presents NWA" which means that had to be members of the NWA, not an outlaw or independent promotion.

  • @bigpoppanard I know that the promotion was claiming NWA membership for a time but they never once had Ric Flair defending his title on any cards.

  • @DotDotkins Most NWA smaller promotions couldn't afford to bring Ric Flair into their towns on any type of basis and/or couldn't compete with the bigger paying dates that the more dominate promotions in the NWA like Mid-Atlantic, Georgia, Florida, World Class, Central States and Pacific Northwest. Alot of those NWA promotions like Memphis, Southwest, and some Canadian promotions used to bring in the AWA Champion instead more than their own NWA Champion for World Title dates.

  • @bigpoppanard It's questionable as to whether they were NWA members. Also when this video was shot most NWA member promotions had either gone out of business or were taken over by Jim Crockett promotions.

  • @DotDotkins Well, that's only partially true. In July 1986 at the time there were still MANY NWA promotions in North America still operating that were NOT bought out by JCP or WWF like Southeastern/Continental area; Pacific Northwest, which didnt go out of business until 93; Central States which Bob Geigel bought back from JCP; then Memphis & World Class both leave the NWA around this time and associate themselves with the AWA; and EMLL in Mexico & WWC in Puerto Rico didnt leave until 1990.

  • @ThePGeraFuckingSucks Yeh, what a fight I bet that was. A bout an' a half, man. A bout an' a half!

  • Squash match.

  • I would have loved to see the Brody vs. Brown match, Brown was one of the toughest, most underrated wrestlers that Canada has ever produced, and Brody was, well Brusier f'n' Brody
