Stopped at border by Chinese Immigration. Mountain bike helmet cam.

I was attempting to ride my bicycle over the China/ Hong Kong border at Shenzhen, when a little Chinese immigration man came out and started yelling at me and waving his arms at me. I got to sit in a nice and shiny police station for about half an hour, and then I got a police escort back to the bus station and had to ride over the border on a bus, with my bicycle. Lame.

Maybe it is just me, but that officer didn't really do something wrong...

If somebody would be cycling on a motorway (The place you were cycling didn't really look like a suitable place to cycle) and then wants to cross the border, wouldn't you also make him stop? I think they forced you to take a bus for your own safety because you were cycling on a motorway. But that's only my opinion.

The issue here is that Hong Kong and also Macau can´t possibly part of China because whenever you go them from China, you go to International departures. Do you need more proof?

He just wind up the wrong checkpoint. That is true, you can not use cycling on motorway at checkpoint.
