what hook ups do you need from the piano to the launchpad to be able to record piano effects on the launch pad?

i was thinking about getting the launch pad cause i have a roland piano and want to designate/record effects onto certain pads. Is this worth it? and may i ask what you are playing this all out of? any advice besides a computer

@TheRedDash hey wat up. i'm not sure exactly how to set things up the way you want them. to use the launchpad as a basic midi controller you'll probably need to use novation Automap (u need a computer to use the launchpad..usb only). as far as assigning fx, you'd probably need to check your keyboard manual to see how (or if it's even possible).

my setup in this video uses Ableton Live 8 Suite, axiom 49 midi controller, 25-key xio, presonus firebox interface, custom drum kit.
