I thought it was a great tutorial - he wasn't really everywhere, sometimes you forget stuff and have to go back - i mean it's free so I don't expect him to rehearse and do multiple takes. This is what I have been looking for for the past 3 hours so thanks guy.

Dear Norm, Great Videos, You have the right methodology and know how , I have created many , many sites with static HTML and Your explanations on the Dynamic creation of the actual page one see's on a browser was a great clue on how to manipulate and tweak to my liking my website. I was looking for an index.html where to tweak my website. it is a different approach, and much better for groups of people that are going to contribute to a site. Good Job Sir, and Thank You!!!

@psymeta Nope... and I don't intend on using 1.6 anytime soon. 1.5 is so much more stable and more supported.

1.6 is not production ready yet in my opinion.

@DJbvir There is difference between 1.5 and 1.6 so the template for 1.5 or just a skeleton will not work in joomla 1.6

thanks this tutorial is great! im trying to run your joomla 1.5 template in my 1.6 version but its having problems previewing. am i doing something wrong or do i need to change the templatedetails file?
