I'm form the US and I'm curious about something... perhaps a Canadian can help me. Why is the endzone so big, why is there a point rewarded for a missed field goal, and why do receivers sprint across the line before the snap? Is there a False Start penalty?

@thegreig I've never heard that cfl is faster... The fact that cfl only has 3 downs might generate it changing quicker... I mean, when you only get 3 downs the ball posessions gona swap more and the game is gonna be more versitile.

@thegreig only 3 downs in canadian football. The fields a little longer in canadian football and last but not least canadian football is actually older, so techniqually its the "real football" (not even up for debate you american haters lol) american footballs just more famous because america has way more people playing their sport and there's also way more money involved in their sport...

For all u fkers who dislike candian football, it was created before american football. CFL has been around over 100 years while currently the superbowl is only 46 years old. The only reason why it's more popular is because you have a bigger audiance / population. Case closed.
