Christopher Paolini Inheritance Cycle Book Signing at The Forbidden Planet, London

Today I was fortunate enough to attend a book signing by none other that Mr Christopher Paolini himself (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr), in a rare visit to the UK. Here, he reads an excerpt from his latest book, Inheritence, and takes a few questions from the fans before moving on to sign copies of his books. Awesome guy with an awesome series of books! :D

I also found the last chapter predictable, the rest of the book was great though :)

Man, the ending was so sad. Also good book but maybe a bit too predictable, I found myself guessing some of the 'twists' beforehand and was disappointed that he didn't come up with anything else.

@14CDOG41 Arya is also the new queen of ellesmera, Sloan still cannot talk with Katrina or Roran. Eragon leaves with the eggs and eldunari in order to train the next generation of riders. Nasuadu becomes the queen of Alagaesia and Uruba'en is renamed to its old elf city name (illirea or something). Eragon discovers the name of the ancient language so he's god.The green dragon's name is Firnon and Arya and Eragon are not together at all (really dissapointing.) Eragon will never come back home.

Arya is a dragon rider @ the end of the book. Eragon leaves alagaesia. There are more dragon eggs and eldurini on vroengard. Queen islanzadi dies. Horst and elain have a girl named hope. Roran and Katrina have a girl named ismira after Katrina's mom. Eragon gives Sloan his sight back. And it is now possible for a dwarf or urgal to be a rider.
