Saw this Friday at the Film Forum in NYC. Certainly made Kennedy look like the legend i remeber as a boy. His press conferences showed a man who was thoughtful and reasonably honest with the press. A very long way from republicans of today like Bush and Palin. Americans must have become a lot dumber over the last 60 years.
He was charismatic, powerful and intelligent. He posessed a quick wit and a sense of humor. He was also, however, a skilled politician with skeletons in the family closet. The problem with an historical "what if" scenario is that all possible answers must be based on circumstantial evidence. Looks very interesting, though, and I hope to see it. I also liked the music very much.
