Captain Calvert sings The Only Ones.
I didn't explain it when I uploaded this vid coz it's a minimalist song so I gave it a minimal description, but basically the vid shows "only ones" - pioneers in flight. Starting with Icarus, we move on to Bleriot and the early aviators. Next up is Willi Messerschmitt's jet and then space rockets. The only way to finish was to have THE MAN himself: Gagarin. He is the ultimate "only one" and his place in history is assured forever. Whatever comes later, no matter what mankind might achieve in the future, Gagarin will always be the first cosmonaut. A hero for the whole world.
Bonus points if you can name the other cosmo/astro-nauts.

@Teyethegreat Thanks. I did it as a quickie coz I have been trying to do a vid for "Thanks To The Scientists" for bloody ages and I just can't seem to get it. I decided to start on something completely different and made this in two days (staying up all night of course). If you enjoyed this it's because of Robert's brilliance.

@HeidiLandRover I feel this obsession with Yuri is a bit much.

NOBODY has been into Real Outer SPACE in resent history.

All the so called space missions are to the upper atmosphere of this planet a place where the air is rarefied enough to allow high velocity to counter act the gravitation pull of the Earth by the Centripetal force.

Real Outer Space is outside the Van Allen Belts and requires heavy shielding for human life to survive the Radiation.(also a stronger grip on "reality")
