This guy would dominate in ANY era. Bill Russell was great I bet, but against such a complete offensive player around the basket, it doesn't matter. He is for centers wat Michael Jordan is for shooting guards

Um, stop spewing names in your attempt to sound smart and just face facts... Hakeem is better than all of those you just named except Kareem. Oh, and Pettit was a power forward.

@CampusFox12 nope im sure his better than kareem if you talk about a complete center thats hakeem. he can block shots, post down low, shoot, pass, he has the agility and speed like no other center. on the other hand kareem could only score thats it.

Another poster boy for the religion of Islam

@HOLAJUWON34 ...but remember Hakeem got KJ back by erasing his wide open fastbreak dunk!!!
-
I know he is undersized but i would consider Dwight a real center he's probably the only guy in the NBA who is a legit back to the basket center. Him and Shaq of course. Like I said Dwight is only 6'11 but he game is like that of a real center.

Durable indeed but was never quick, especially the quickest. Oh and Wilt gave it to Kareem every time they played, look it up he blocks 2 sky hooks in a row! ouch! bottom line Olajuwon was better in all categories he just got beat up and triple teamed every play of his career, since he didnt have Magic, Worthy and company to bail him out. only player to win a title w/o another all-star on his team. the 2nd he had Clyde. Quadruple doubles! not Kareem not Bird, MJ whom all were on great teams.

Kareem was 37 years old when Olajuwon came into the league. That year he averaged 22 points and 8 rebounds per game. Even at almost 40 years old, his sky hook was nearly unstoppable.
Now imagine the sky hook coupled with a very athletic body. Kareem was durable BECAUSE he was an incredible athlete. No one could stop Kareem in his prime and Olajuwon would have been no different.
-
He had good hangtime.
-
Yes I have and Olajuwon whooped his sky hooking behind! just cause he played 50 years and is the leading scorer just means he was durable and was blessed to play with players that may have been better than him! As far as Wilt goes, Russell abused him on a nightly basis...and at 6'9". Both Wilt and Kareem are great centers but were too slow for Olajuwon. If he made Robinson look slow!

hahah love the way barcley pushed him and he scored

Has no one heard of Wilt Chamberlin? Maybe Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (all time leading scorer of a little thing called the NBA) ? But also as sigto117 said, it's irrelevant to compare players from different eras

Kevin Johnson.
KJ was an all-star who averaged 20 points and 10 assists in three different years.
He has an equally amazing highlight on Hakeem. He dunked on him at the end of a Houston playoff victory.
Just do a google search for "KJ on hakeem" and you should find a clip.

I made this a year ago for mixmakers.net, and no, I didn't rip this from anyone.
I don't know who the reason is, or that he made a Hakeem video. Hell half the reason I made this was because I didn't know there was a Hakeem mix out there...I got all the footage myself and put this together.

You stole all those clips the reasonsf3's video and added crappy music. nice job asshole.
Quadzilla99 5 years ago
You do realize that all the reasonsf3 did was take the Hakeem the Dream video that the nba released in 95, rip out the highlight clips in the same order and then add music to it.
The guy who made this at least had some talent.(I didnt make the video)
