People can really be hurtful and rude. I'm sure part of the process to better enlightenment is not expecting perfection from other's. There is an expression. "If you can do it better then do it yourself". I thank you for taking your time to share this. It was very relaxing and I am very interested in learning more about Reiki after watching this.

@TheSereneWay I really like this video, so relaxing.

You have such a relaxing voice. It seems so appropriate for this topic. :)

I think you need to show *whether*reiki works before explaining *how* it works.

here we have a delusional person criticizing other delusions based on his own equally delusional delusions. This is rich.
It's like watching kids fight over whether Santa Claus supports the Easter Bunny.
Could it be said that Heirarchy is self or culturally constructed?
The 'this is better' or 'this is the way' statements create the illusions of those levels and it is our own judgement which places them above or below another. Neither of the statements can be said to be objective - objectivity is beyond judgement, they have little in common and cannot co-exist. Once judgement rises then subjectivity has usurped the place of objectivity.

Most of us look outside for what is truly an internal process. The authority is outside. God/no god is outside. Books are outside. What is internal? Energy itself is pervasive and has many forms.
My expereince showed me that Reiki works for me - otherwise I'd still be suffering through IBS and not able to function and I was there. I worked internally and energetically to attain a degree of health and balance. In the end it makes little difference if scientific - it simply worked.

Discernment can be described as experential - what works for us based on our belief system (God or no god - both are beliefs) and what we know about our selves. Books may provide information, unless that information is experienced it remains a rambling of the another's 'mind'.
If we move beyond discernment to acceptance, then we broaden our perspectives giving us more compassion and empathy - these are links to our interconnectedness with each other and the planet on which we reside.

Cute22, I'm sure that the internet holds many of the examples of data both false and perhaps real - it is our own perspective and current abilities or limitations of our current patterns of synapse firing that create these illusions and perspectives. Neuroplasticity can create new patterns and firing - all things continually change. Some medicines work for some and the same ones do not - the same for placebo effect - a single line is formed of many points - sunlight continues beyond our senses

Interesting conversations...CC09, almost & Cute22...
What are feelings? Are emotional responses or or intuition/creative thought used as the basis - confusion may exists between the two. Emotional responses are a by-product of our established patterns of behaviour ie. memories and past experiences, they can be modified and controlled. Creative thought or intuition leaves the 'mind' out of the equation - E=MC2 came out of this process. Niether modification nor control can bind this process.

I like Reiki but, I hate this video. This guy would make me want to jump off a bridge. Please, re do this video with another guy. Did he just eat peanut butter? Why does he constantly lick his lips? Why does he have to sound like he is on some sort of drug?
Reiki is great but, this video...NOT!

@Greenvegan828 thanks for the comments...no peanut butter though. Didn't know I was constantly licking my lips, not even sure I was...drugs, not in this recording...but thanks for the offer. There's always room for improvement and even better ways to offer constructive input.
