What do you do if you've found the perfect guy—he's smart, he's caring, he's cute—but he's just not that into God? Stina Wilson has had to answer this question before when her high school sweetheart was everything she wanted—except a Christian. Based on her own experience, biblical lessons, and years of working with teens in Young Life, Wilson has written Breaking Up to help young women find out if their relationship is godly, decide if (and how) to break up with the guy, cope with guilt and emotional fallout, and finally move forward to a closer relationship with God.

Keep in touch with Stina, and chat with her about the topics in her book at:

  • @ssssroryssss2

    you need Jesus!

  • What do you do, if the guy you have started seeing believes in God but doesn't go to church? He said he will go to church with me, do I make a go of the relationship??

  • I have several reasons why being equally yoked (Christian with Christian relationships) is important to me but the one that really stands out is her Eternal destination. For one who believes in salvation through Christ (you don't have to agree with me on that, just understand where I'm coming from) how can I truly love someone and not want to see them saved from damnation? I either ignore her salvation and let her be damned after death or keep bothering her about it until she changes or leaves.

  • self centered brainwashed advice, you dont leave some one just because they might not be where you are at with god.

  • "i think every woman is attracted to a certain type of guy." yeah you're right. they love a guy who is sweet and kind and easy for them to take advantage of in a "relationship" ...meanwhile the girl is sleeping around with all of the better looking, asshole guys. every girl lies, every girl cheats. christian or not

  • Oh you are right about not finding the qualities we are looking for in Christian guys. its such a mission. and most of us end up loosing hope.

  • I'm an atheist and my girl friend is a Christian. We get along just fine despite a few ideological differences. One reason is she hasn't fallen victim to the divisive, blinkered intolerance of fundamentalist Christianity. Thus she allows for virtue all kinds of people and doesn't perceive atheists as immoral. She is wise and enlightened far beyond the parochial extremists that poison the minds of so many.

  • @blackpearl722 I agree. Even people like Anthony Robbins talk about the toxicity of attempting to maintain an intimate relationship with someone who has deeply conflicting values or morals.

  • If you don't agree with her beliefs, why take the time to watch the whole thing and then comment cruel things? If you think she is bad for trying to help people who are struggling, are you not bad for calling her names and being evil? Be respectful. There is no reason to be angry.

  • Shes a bitch for trying to control him. Drag him to church????? Fuck off!!!!
