Eyesweb has an enormeous potential beyond experimental music and computer graphics for university : I believe it could revolutionize the animation creativity process of some 3d game characters, sort of "cheap mocap" way of hacking around (which is just one tiny consequence of what Eyesweb can do) : so everybody could do their own Image Metrics "Emily" at home : seriously these guys have talent and extreme attention to detail but they haven't invented the wheel...

Yes very very interesting indeed.

I have prepared some facial rig in 3dsmax recently and I want to experiment with this (perhaps driving max old MIDI motion capture controllers) : I downloaded eyesweb and started to play with it : it seems quite powerful but I find it hard to get on the steep learning curve, and there's not thousands of fans (yet) like on Blender community for help.

I think this is mostly attracting DJs and programmers... for now.
