in 1973, we used to sneek lunch trays from the dorm to go sledding...we'd get many sledders in a long line and start down the hill, hoping that you didn't lose your tray on the way down...one year, on a saucer, I hit a large domed iron drain cover...it launched me quite high and the landing was spectacular...and painful...drove home for Christmas on 2 stacked pillows that year...yowsaa! we also used to shoot out onto Potter's lake when it was frozen and slide across the lake! numb butts forever
