FSX is definately the best simulator in the world :p

I agree. It's very easy to ever heat and destroy those engines
-
@aAIRCANADA806 i dont think they stopped
but if they did , my 2 cents goes to engine related problems
-
why did these pretty much stop service?
-
@Uruguayanflyers thanks

On engine failure at or after V1, climb out at V2 until 500 ft AGL, then level off to accelerate to V2+10 kt, retract the flaps and then continue climbing at Vyse to 1500 ft, that´s the procedure.

great video thanks for uploading. quick question: at what v2+ speed do you retract the flaps and accelerate after take off? cant figure out whether its vyse or just anytime after vyse? i know the ice speed card shows flap retract but what is it normally? thanks

I´ve bought the PMDG JS41 for Flight Simulator X, the cockpit looks and works exactly like in the video! Great plane, I really love it!
I don't really agree with the engines being the issue. I have worked on these planes for over 5 years now and done a lot of engine work on them. The engine a Garrett TPE331-14 is really a rock solid engine. I have never seen one over temp, however that is largely in part to the IEC's. They are not out of service buy the way. Easter Airways in England still fly them as well as South African Airlink and a few other small airlines, however it is true that no US Part 121 operators fly them.

Can BAe Engine start with out battery assist?

The 41 can start with a GPU however there must be batteries installed in order to pull the start contactor in the PDU's.
