  • I don't view this as creepy, although I see the other point of view. I think it's clever, humorous, and one of my favorite scenes in musicals. Fred and Ginger were indescribable!

  • Lovely:) Ginger is so beautiful!!!

  • Dancing Heaven!!! I saw the film at Lincoln Center on Friday and all I have to say is W O W W W W W W !!!!!!! BRAVO Fred , Ginger and the Gershwins!!!!!

  • @Catskill5 watch the movie. she repeats the name of a Russian folk song, a tune they had discussed throughout the movie, which is why he knew it was her.

  • Makes me cry. They were so good.

  • Love 2:07!! Fred doing the face palm is cute XD

  • @nmitchell076 I completely agree.

    Let's hope a relative of Gershwin trolls you tube . . . .

  • What does Ginger sat at 1:49?

  • I think this piece of music sums up Gershwin's entire life.

  • @stackedactor1

Not to mention that from a musicological standpoint, the Shall We Dance score shows Gershwin at his most mature and finally planting his foot down with his own unique musical style. Of course, he had been developing this style for his entire career, however the Shall We Dance score is really the apex of it, and it is pretty much unknown to the musical world. It is a shame to Gershwin's legacy that this score remains locked up and not even available for study.

  • Ginger Rogers was great with Fred Astaire, and Fred Astaire was great with Ginger Rogers. So what that Ginger was a anti-communist and a Republican, I am an Anti-Communist Republican too.
