Microdermabrasion

Any procedure which strips the outer dead skin layers of excessive dead skin stimulates the skin into a renewal. Even if you scrub your face hard or in the old days sometimes would use for instance sandpaper or salt and a toothbrush on a tattoo, and they would strip the outer dead skin layers. The skin would respond by renewing itself quicker and ideally working out the pigment of a tattoo. The same thing is what we try to do with Microdermabrasion. It's a treatment that is not useful if you only get it done one time, but whether you have fine lines and wrinkles or whether you have acne with tonnes of plugged up pores, whiteheads and blackheads, the stripping of the skin with this little small sandblaster (doesn't hurt, feels like a vacuum cleaner on your skin) and the skin is bombarded with tiny particles which are then sucked away. The result is a smoother skin, even when he sit up, you can feel the difference, but what is important is microscopically there is a response in your skin which develops new collagen and the skin turnover time is enhanced thus purging the skin of plugged-up pores and also renewing the skin with a new collagen.
