@278Jaa you should make a video

@feorr1 let me correct u one 1 thing, parrallel increases the resistance while series decreases it, seeing as its only 4 ohm stable and you dont want to utilize an 8 ohm load, your best bet is to wire 1 sub to each channel if its a 2 channel amp. if it is a mono block amp, there isnt anything u can do to run a 4 ohm load, unless you wire in aditional subs in series. only other option is to upgrade your amp and/or your subs. just remember to use the RMS rating to match the amp and subs

is the input sensitivity the same thing as gain as i have seen in other videos also i want to get max out of amp but speakers wont let me its a 4 ohm stable amp but speakers are 4 ohm also 2 of them if i go parallel it would be 2 ohm and my amp showes 120rms x1 @ 4ohm bridged but dose not recomend less than 4 ohms in brdiged set up says could burn up amp now if i go in series would be 8 ohms but how much power would i lose going to 8 ohms help please

best video ive ever seen on this shit thanks bro
no offense but ive been in car audio for a good while. a couple things that felt should've been mentioned in the vid are how to "tune" the head unit and amp for optimal signal, diff wire guage size for differant applications, the importance of using the RMS rating to match the sub up with an appropriate amp, and maybe a quick mention of the more commonly used enclosures and the diff sound characteristics of the diff enclosures, and the 2 main wiring formats for subs for right ohm (impedance)load

@278Jaa This video is meant to be a VERY general overview of a subwoofer system. I recommend doing much more research for specifics like you have mentioned.

If the amp's lights are on, you should check the connection inside the enclosure. Make sure the subwoofer itself is hooked up properly to the enclosure housing wiring. Also, make sure all the Positive/Negative hookups are accurate. Check the wiring from the head unit (radio) to the subwoofer. How do you have your amp hooked up to the stereo system?
