This movie changed my perception on life!

@bitphr3ak - Oh. I'm not too interested in labels. I don't think anyone's talking science. I haven't paid much for any Abraham Hicks stuff. I saw the Secret online for free. I've seen dozens of Abraham-Hicks videos on Youtube for free. I liked their stuff, so wanted something more complete, so bought one of their books. I buy books now and then anyway. You don't have to believe in the Law of Attraction if you don't want to. Feeling gratitude seems like a pretty healthy thing to me.

@BayviewFinch - I don't doubt that, to a large degree, how we think is reflected in the life we live. That being said, there is no Law of Attraction that exists on a level of human consciousness. Other than from authors who are trying to sell books. Pseudoscience is not science, no matter how well you market it.
-
@bitphr3ak - There's probably more truth to that than you know. We chose this world knowing it would be full of contrast.
-
@DaveLeech1989 - I've read 'The Secret', and things like rape are explained in terms of a women 'attracting' rape because of how she thinks.
I think that is a bunch of bullshit, much like the claims of those pimping books about the "Law of Attraction'.
There is nothing wrong with positive thinking, the world needs more of it, but there is nothing magical about it, much like there is nothing scientific about this 'law of attraction'.

@DaveLeech1989 - This part was sarcasm:
"Why are the people of N.Korea starving, with improper medical resources, and no human rights? Because they haven't read The Secret of course! It has nothing to do with their government. They want to be oppressed!"
-
@DaveLeech1989 - I was serious about this:
"The Law of Attraction works to attract YOUR money to video and book sales."
and this:
"You can think positively and act accordingly without buying yet another book about thinking positively and acting accordingly. THINK! Before they make it illegal!"
-
@bitphr3ak that's quite a statement and quite a generalization. being free people it is easy to speculate and say "you should do this" and "you should do that". But the truth is it isn't that easy for everyone. It is a ridiculous claim to say that those people want to be oppressed. I'm not sure if that was sarcasm but I'm hoping it was. Not everyone has an easy way out.
