Trying to get Raison to use the Ramp, Maggie and Cade seem to like it more, but Raison is leaning. She has DM it's like a dog with MS. The amazing thing is she is happy as ever and her abnormal gate and falling bothers us far more than her.I don't think DM is that common in Labs, it's more prevalent in Corgi's, German Shepards and other large breed dogs, and in the end it could be a mimicking degenerative spinal diseases but treatment for her would be the same. Love, patience and a sense of humor.

  • My 8 yr old yellow lab is starting to do the same thing. I'm worried. Have you had your dog diagnosed by a vet?

  • @Sevensixseven78 Hi seven I am sorry I missed our comment yes we did have Raison diagnose by a vet. She passed away in October shortly after we made this video , she was no longer able to use her front or rear legs.. she was happy and loved until the end.. Please take your lab to the vet, it coudl be a spinal problem that could be treated with anti-inflammatories.

  • @threedogsantiques Im so sorry to hear that. I love labs/dogs. Even yours. My lab ended up having Wobblers. I don't know if you have ever heard of it but its rare in labs too and has some similar symptoms to DM. We got him surgery and 7000 dollars later he seems to be doing ok. His walk is a little funny now but at least it stopped it from degenerating any further.
