geez, lighten up and give the guy a break. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and nothing you do will change that. By the way I do agree with him about the jerk part.

Jason started doing it since he was 16 months old, for more than 20 years, i dont think u can change a 20 years old habit, specially a habit that makes money :)

anyway i know u didnt have any intention of insulting any player, that u dont like the style, which u dont have to, but bowling is a matchin game, it works for some individuals. this is an evolution

well, i know that reading may cause diff type of interpretation, but if u say hes doing something that jerks do, on my interpretation, u r implying that he's a jerk.

on the side i do admit that i ve seen ppl doing it, cuz i was one of em back when i had 0 knowledge on bowling.

now im pretty educated about the game and sometimes i still do the 2hand shot when nothing else works,

and believe me, i got very decent scores, decent meaning 650-700 series.

i have seen guys doing that, i just ignore them since i know they are going nowhere.

comming back to Belmonte's case, u cant stand that, fine, i dont like WRW or PA's style but i dont say they look like jerks i just say they are good but i dont like the styles

So, your telling me you've never seen anyone at an alley trying to bowl one handed purely to get the maximum amount hook on the ball? If the answer is no then you obviously don't go to the same alley's as me. I see it all the time its just one of them things and hense why i have a dislike for belmonte. Belmonte is clearly a great bowler but his style, sucsessful or not, i can't stand. Is that a crime?

but "the kind of jerks at the alley doing to impress their friends" nah thats way off. If u seach little bit Jason Belmonte on inet, u will find out that he started bowling when he was 1 year old. He started bowling with 2 hands and had great success, then why he would or should change?

Well i have competed in national events but thats not the issue, im not saying this guy isn't an amazing bowler im simply saying i don't like his style, but if it works for him, it works for him like you say. Just an opinion nothing more nothing less

When you can bowl well enough to compete in world events, then you can criticise other professionals bowling styles. There are no rules in bowling that say you have to put your thumb in the ball, and it seems to work well enough for him
