this video looks like it was filmed with a tomato

Thanks for saying this. With all the bad comments on the music, I almost feel like I'm doing a disservice. when all I want to do is share how to grow big tomatoes. I appreciate all positive comments or people who want to share their gardening tips.

if you want giant tomatoes than remove all from a truss but one... suckering and tomatoe size are not that critical , I very rarely prune and have had tomatoes in the 1.5-2.5 lb range

Wow, I watched several other videos about pruning tomatoes, which I found about yesterday, and yours showed me what I need to know in a fast concise manner. Thanks...

I really wanted to learn how to prune these tomatoes but the music was very annoying and preventing me from learning.
Don't tell me the music doesn't matter, it does. That is a reality. Unless you have ADD.

What would happen if you pruned most of the stems and leaves, leaving only flower/fruit production?

for a second I thought it said how to surprise your tomatoes. Then i thought why would you want to surprise them, they will probably taste worse.

I've had flowers grow right out of "sucker" areas. I still pick most of them though.

how long did it take for your plants to grow that big using that method?
I tried this once, I over pruned, but the leaves are necessarily for photosynthesis. Still the leaves grew back and big tomatoes still grew. The plant seems to know when it has a problem and it responds accordingly. (when its healthy and has the nutrients it needs).

I would love to swap the video for one that doesn't have the music. I've tried but I can't see that this is possible in YouTube. But anyone who watches carefully will get great results using these methods. I'll post another video soon that shows my garden this year, its even more impressive. We have HUGE TOMATOES right now!
