@jonweldon As an american I've never heard that term, but I'm going to call someone a "knob end" by Sunday.
-
He lives in London so he'd be used to calling it the Tube
-
hehe, go colin tho! x
-
I'm not saying that's easy by any means but it's certainly the easiest 2 stops to do that at. Both stops are on the same street and it's even downhill all the way. Oh, and Dave Berry is a bit of a tit.
-
he gets off at Buchanan Street and goes on it again at St Enoch, yes
-
hey ! get me a sub from there haha!
-
Dave Berry is from london and we dont have subways we have the underdround which is known as the tube!
-
Lolz that presenter is a dick head that subway is not nickednamed 'the tube'
-
haha! nice. its from buchanan street station to st enoch station
-

Okay so first off the presenter is a typically patronising twat. Probably he'd usually have said "...and this comes from John in Gloucestershire" or "...this one comes from Jerry in Lancaster-upon-sodding-Humberside."
Colin, however, is simply "Colin from Scotland". Cause, you know, we're basically just a glorified county. Does my head in.
Secondly, there are no "Oyster cards" on the Glasgow Subway. Glasgow, funnily enough, is NOT part of London. Shock horror, huh!
