Vax VX1 - pet hair on laminate

My Vax VX1 vacuuming up hair shed by our greyhound Flora, on the laminate floor of the study!

This room needs cleaning all the time - in addition to the pet hair, the patio door is always open during the day, and light debris blows in from the garden. Also, Flora tracks in a lot of mud and grit from outside.

All this means the floor in the study needs constant cleaning to keep it looking good, and provides a performance-challenge for any vacuum cleaner! As you can see, the VX1 copes very well, and the wand is great for all the hard-to-reach spots.

There are plenty of bagless cleaners which meet Allergy Foundation filtration requirements, and there are plenty of bagged cleaners which do not!

Should we put up with bagless vacuums to heighten up breathing problems in our children? Come on! At least a bagged vacuum keeps all the dust in and older machines aren't as noisy or putting out so much hot air.
