Newsmaker Knockout - Protest of 54 I.C.E. Arrests In Reno

Newsmaker Knockout takes you to the protest on October 3, 2007, in Downtown Reno that made national news. Sparked by the arrest of 54 people at 12 different McDonald's locations for identy theft and immigration violations. The investigation was started when a Fernley woman discovered on her W2 form that more money was reported than what she had earned. It was later discovered by the local sherrif that a manager and employee at the McDonald's where she used to work at had stolen her identity. The protesters were met by a small group supporting I.C.E. and legal immigration.
