Greetings and many thanks on showing interest in my templates !!! First an introduction of myself - My name is Joey Paranoia and I'm an Ableton Certified Trainer and Music Producer / Performer. I've spend the last couple of months developing these templates to satisfy all my wildest dreams with Ableton's new controller series. I hope you will enjoy all of them and create new ideas and ways to use Ableton Live.

Due to the high volume of requests, questions and mulitple templates to chose from I've created a bit of a menu to help you decide which template is best for you and what you want to achieve with it. The describtions below goes over what each template contains and its basic functions.


APC-40 Series - PARANOIA TEMPLATES -


Paranoia's APC40 - Massive Looper - Step Sequencer ( Ideal for creating drum and synths patterns - Live improv jamming )




1 - Step Track - Drag and Drop any VST , Impluse , Operator , Audio Sample , 3rd Party Plug Ins ( Massive , Absynth etc etc ) and fire away !!! Holds mulitple plug ins and instruments with no lantency and clips in audio. Create layers upon layers and drums, synths , vocals ... You name it

8 - Individual Sub Mixed Channels all routed to APC Faders to record all your work in real time .

1 - Channel of LED Lights - Step Lights

3 - Blank Send Tracks in put the Effects of your Choosing.

Works on any version of Live - NO MAX 4 LIVE or BOMES required.

2 - Sub Mixed Channels for on the fly recording and One shot sampling

* All templates are colored coded and labeled clearly with no plug-ins or effects when you receive them . They also come with a manual where all the internal routing is explained and what each track's function is. This will insure no problem when trying to load them in whatever version of Live your currently using. I also include a free skype lesson to show you how it works and answer any questions. If your in the U.S. questions can be answered by phone as well.

hey great vid, but i thought , that the launchpad and the apc 40 where almost the same ,-- what are their differences? which one is better?

@downsalas Apples and Oranges . They have similiar basic functions . but IMO the APC40 is better for production use and fader action - while the LP is better for my style of DJing . It really depends on if you like to use faders and knobs or just need it to trigger clips.

sorry for the stupid question..but the template are only for the apc??i need one for the launchpad, is it possible? and in case are you sure that it works with any version of ableton??(i've the 7.0.1)..thx and sorry for the english!!

Why is it that every video abaout some equipment is only talking abaout what you can do with it instead of just showing what you can do with it by playing. its not the equipment that makes the music.

@joeyparanoia man i need help 1 i just order this too, there is common sense in what ive done? i can still do something about that for example change it to a Akai mpk 49...so i need astrong opinion as quickly as possible, i want to use this 2 for producing, thx.

I like it ! I'm really interested in how you keep your mappings on your LP from conflicting with you APC-40. I've been using my Apc-40 with NativeKontrols Apc-CL1-TC1 for about 2yrs now and i love it. How do you keep you LP from conflicting with the APC-40? Can you e-mail me a screen shot of your midi sync tab or post a video of set up? I've wasted so much time on this so far. I can't seam to map the LP without remote box checked but then it conflicts with my APC-40. Thanks in Advanced.

@sab531 Dude you cant go wrong with the launchpad, its like 200 bucks brand new. My advice would be to see if you can get a copy of Ableton live first to mess around with. Launchpad and Apc40 are pretty much just controllers, everything you can do with them you can do with a mouse nd keyboard (but its much more fun with a controller) :D *10 months late*

@joeyparanoia I just purchased a launchpad on ebay for 85 bucks...Wasnt planning on getting one..but for 85 bucks I thought why not? I was learning towards an apc40 but I figure Ill just get a Korg NanoKontrol to make up for the LP lack of faders and knobs. ;)
